Choose this port because it has both a USB and a regular wall outlet. It may have been defective, but it was a good price even if one of the ports wasn't working. I won't be returning it as it will probably cost me more money so I'll keep it to myself and pray that other ports will keep working.

I bought it because of the shape - it fits my crowded desk easily. Stopped working in less than 3 months. It took me hours to troubleshoot all of my equipment to find out it was a hub and not my external hard drives, cameras, microphones, fans, etc. I missed most of an important work meeting before realizing that this hub was garbage.

This unit works well as a fast charging port for my phone and mouse adapter. However, the USB data ports were somewhat patchy. Sometimes it doesn't recognize flash drives connected to data ports, but after a few port changes it will work. I'm giving this 4 stars based on the price of the device and the fact that it does what I bought it for.

Just for charging my Bluetooth devices (headphones, speakers, etc.) when not in use. Works great with the JBL Go Pro speaker. Doesn't even pretend to charge Sony headphones. I haven't tried using it to charge an iPad Pro, but I wasn't expecting much. Returned when iPad fails to charge.
