This tool is strong and well made. However, the largest drill guide is 5/16" and I'm trying to drill 3/16" solid rivets with a 1/2" head. I need to visually center the tool over the rivet and be careful not to wander around. Before I do that When using the tool for the first time, I put a drop of engine oil on the top of the tool.

We are carrying out a general overhaul of a 60 year old motorhome. I needed a tool that would allow me to drill through all the rivets without worrying that a slipped bit would scratch the aluminum skin. This product fits perfectly! It's heavy for its size, very durable, and smooth in operation. I highly recommend it!

I admit I was skeptical when I bought it but it works well. I didn't have to remove many rivets, like 30 or so, but a slip would have been a disaster. However, I had to be very careful when drilling freehand, and even with care, the drill bit can wobble. The end of the tool is slightly concave so that it is pressed against the rivet head and the drilling depth is adjustable. An hour of freehand work took about 10 minutes with tools, but above all no slipping and therefore no damage.

Great. I bought it to take apart an old tool box for a restoration. After trying to drill out rivets without success, I ordered this tool and tried again. In 10 minutes I unscrewed all 16 rivets. It worked flawlessly and I highly recommend it if you have a job to try. One caveat: no instructions were included, but there is a great video on YouTube on how to use it, including setting up the racquet. I would recommend viewing it before using it.
