Gave it to my brother for Christmas. he collects all kinds of weird kitchen stuff :) he loves it! Updated 12/13/2020 He still has it, he's using it and says it works really really well! He whistles when the pasta is ready!

Very impressive. It seems like too easy to work with, but it's true. I've tried putting it under water again and again, but it keeps bubbling up; half submerged. Not sure about the strength, the plastic is cheap. music is quiet You really have to listen to this.

This was a fun present for my father. We were so pleasantly surprised at how well it works. The songs are a bit muted. . but the little guy is underwater. It was fun and it helps him remember when to grab the noodles, so win/win.

Bought this as a silly Christmas present. It's one of those things that ends up on the shelf and you don't use it because you don't have to listen to a song every time you cook pasta (even if it breaks - the pasta isn't something you'd want to count on). timer or clock)

Fun kitchen gadget - it really works. I bought this as a gift last January and left it with plans to buy a few more as Christmas gifts this year. Unfortunately, the price has almost doubled. I originally paid $19.95 which I think is closer to what you get since it's plastic.

I ordered 5 of these as fun Christmas presents. Everyone loved her! Very cute and fun addition to my own kitchen! I can focus on making the salad and garlic bread while this little guy takes care of my pasta! I would give 5 stars but the plastic is flimsy and the first order of 2 came unassembled and had to be replaced. Production packaging is minimal and not very protective.

I tried it and it really works. The volume is very VERY low so you might miss the music in a noisy kitchen. The time isn't accurate and it doesn't work well unless in plenty of boiling water. If you are cooking pasta for one person, this may not work. The instructions show how to take it apart to clean it, but I don't see it being taken apart at all. Has the product changed? The battery cannot be replaced, once it is empty the item is unusable. This is a nice gift but overpriced in my opinion.
