🪒 Experience Smooth Shaving with Alba Botanica Very Emollient Shave Cream Coconut Lime 8 oz (2-packs) Review

I used to use Alba herbal products. Previously ordered coconut mango. It should be coconut lime and is labeled as such. However, it does have a very distinct minty smell! Leads me to believe there was a packaging error in quality control. There seems to be a mint and aloe scent, but those two have definitely been replaced! Also, I like the formula, it's thick but I just pat with a razor and rinse off.

I have a thick beard which is great. I really like it because it's very smooth and smooth and doesn't lather - no lather needed here - and you can see where you're shaving and what you might have missed. I also buy this regularly for my 86 year old stepdad who has Parkinson's and shaves his beard and loves it. The smell is great and it leaves my skin softer and smoother than anything I've shaved before.

Very smooth beautiful product. The smell is pleasant, although not my favorite. Not offensive. Bought it not only because I'm a fan of the brand but also because it was highly recommended to use after sun without the sun. It is gentle on the skin and forms a smooth barrier between the skin and the razor. Good stuff. You can try again with a different flavor.

I followed a recommendation from Glamour.com for this product and it seemed promising at first. I often get dry skin on my legs when hair starts to grow. The first shave went well, I put on a thick layer, but I found my razor was really hard to shave. I had to go through multiple times to get a close shave. It ended up taking me twice as long as usual to shave. I use Billie razors and have used Gillette Venus before with no problems. I've tried applying thinner coats to help my pair of razors…

Ironically, I tried this version of Alba Botanica and it doesn't work as well as the Mango Vanilla version. It's a little more runny and not as moisturizing. It literally doesn't smell like coconut and lime, but like mint. That part was ok, it was stimulating. I was just surprised how much better the other scent was - thick and creamy, nice scent, much smoother shave.
