Lots of reviews say it's cute. But until I saw him, I had no idea he could be that cute. In addition, it is very well finished as if care had been put into its production. And it's more than I expected. He's worth his money. There is an eight-inch wheel in the photo alongside. to give you an idea of the proportions.

This is the perfect shelter for my robotic hamster. Item shipped quickly and packaged very well. There was an unpleasant smell at first, but that went away after a few days. The wood is smooth, all holes are well polished. No jagged edges that the hamster could hurt itself on. The one I received was orange and not yellow like the pictures. Not a deal breaker for me.

I bought this for my daughter's gerbils and when it arrived I was concerned it wouldn't be big enough. They fit perfectly. I don't think anything larger than a gerbil, like an adult Syrian hamster, would fit in this lair, but smaller gerbils would do. My daughter's gerbils love sleeping on the ground floor of this shelter. We'll definitely be buying another one if they inevitably end up chewing on this one.

Pretty strong and very nice shelter for my gerbils. They've of course already chewed off half the back of it so I think I'll have to buy another one in the near future, but I can tell they really enjoy going through all the windows and doors. If they don't feel like being with each other, they can always go to their "rooms". It's almost not worth mentioning, but the ramp I ended up with was orange instead of yellow as shown in the picture. I don't think it matters in my opinion.

This instantly became my favorite mouse's favorite sleeping spot. He also loves to run, climb and hide inside with his favorite extra treats. He likes to climb into all the cracks and let me look for him. He likes to have food on a tray so he can sit and eat on the platform. Well Done; nice wood, well sanded and smooth.
