The overall design and quality of the suit is very cute. I ordered 6-6x for my daughter who is 6 and will be 7 soon but is smaller for her age. This costume was HUGE on her. Be sure to measure or read the measurements specifically before buying, because the size is not correct.

Very poor choice of fabric for a mermaid dress. The fabric from which this dress is made can be snuggled up very well. If my daughter didn't like it I would definitely send it back. It would be great if it was made of a fabric that doesn't snag easily.

I really liked this costume because it's very similar to the colors Ariel wears in the movie, but after wearing it twice it fell apart and I had to change the straps. It would be nice if my daughter could wear it more often. After washing, the dress had to be thrown away.

Bought for my daughter to attend the Mermaid Festival Parade. This mermaid costume was perfect for my 3 year old. It looked higher quality than others I've seen online or in person. The sequins are really softer, shiny circles of fabric, so they didn't irritate her. Very happy with my purchase. Definitely recommend.

I need to take a picture to add it. Overall a pretty cute costume but it's sad that the whole ruffled sleeve fell off a few minutes after my daughter arrived at the costume party. I know kids ran around and played but nothing crazy. I'm trying to fix it before Halloween and don't know if it's possible due to the thin material.

My daughter loved it and wore it immediately. The body fitted well, but the straps were tight and bothered her armpits. It broke on the first try while we were filming it. The shiny ruffles on the sleeves tear very easily. See photos. I thought about going back but my daughter doesn't seem to mind the torn sleeves. In the end I'll probably cut off the straps and sew on new ones that fit her better.

I bought it for my 2.5 year old and ordered size 2-3. She is actually over 2 years old and regularly carries 3t. But still I have to change it drastically to make it fit. I have to lift it about 5 inches from the bottom and also lift the straps about 2 inches each. I would return it but it was a good price and I really like the glittery material the tail is made of because it looks more like a mermaid than sequins. But I am definitely saying that this 2-3 size is more like a regular 4-5t!
