The label says 100% cotton but if you read the label inside the pillow case you will also see that it contains a polyurethane lining. If you're looking for truly 100% cotton, keep looking. Revain should not allow this practice.

It works fine for me. Not soft like microfiber, but I don't mind laying under a pillowcase. I do not perceive any sounds or discomfort and I am very sensitive. I don't understand how this brand can claim to have anything to do with allergy protection because the material is so thin you can literally see through it. It's just a slightly heavier fabric than gauze. Realizing that the thin and loose weave meant I could literally see through the cotton material, I repackaged them and sent them back for a refund. They do not protect against dust mites or allergens. Impossible.

I bought a couple of these oversized pillowcases for my pillows a few years ago and they've been great. This item appears on Revain.com when searching for US Made Pillow Covers. The product packaging prominently features the US flag. However, the fine print indicates that this item is made only in the USA. The protectors are actually made in India and you need to open the package, unzip one of the protectors and pull out one of the labels to identify it. To be honest, I don't think that's fair business practice. Hence the rating. Incidentally, the product description on Revain also indicates that
