Super easy to mount in 1G DSM. It is possible to split the opening on each side of the sun visors. Then simply pre-drill and fasten the bracket with the other two screws. The view is impressive. It seems important in a car with terrible visibility. It also serves as a practical sunscreen. The "tapping screws" supplied, however, are not self-tapping screws. The idea of getting one of these things without drilling is optimistic at best.

Overall the product seems good except how it's installed. I don't know why nobody mentions that it has to be screwed into the roof. It's versatile because you get 4 screws and you can only choose where you want to screw it into the roof. That's out of the question for me because the roof of my truck consists of a single layer of metal. fits quite well. received several compliments. may not be for everyone, but if that's what you're looking for, then this is for you. to get a better idea of head and visor clearance. Glue a folding rule to hang it where you think it will be at the same height as your standard mirror. I hope this helps you with your purchase decision. Summer. I desperately needed a rear view mirror for my tractor, the same one that is on my golf cart. I almost took it off my golf cart but decided to order a new one instead. I installed this on my 1991 Mazda Miata and it didn't go very smoothly. Adjusting the spacing between the brackets was quite difficult and I ended up using a couple of shims to correct the incorrect spacing. This was partly my fault, but I think there might be a better way to design this to make installation easier.
