👟 Alpinestars Sektor Vented Shoes - Black - Size 6 Review

These boots are what I consider 'perfect'. They are very comfortable, light weight, your feet don't get hot in Texan summer weather, but the main reason we buy motorcycle boots is for protection in an accident. In my case the boots didn't protect my feet at all, I ended up getting one of the Pegi punctures right through the boot and leg to the point where I lost two toes as they were dismembered. The second boot was also torn in the accident and he had three metatarsal fractures.

Warning: Check EU size, not US size. I wear US 11 shoes/sneakers/boots but this is EU45. Alpinestars should be different for some reason so their US11 is EU44 and US11.5 is EU45. I've also had issues with the Supertech R sizing in the past. The vented material appears to be of high quality, but many of the exterior surfaces have worn down from constant moving around the box. Definitely recommend this product but please think twice before you buy. I usually wear size 9.5 US in sneakers and they are the same size and true to size. However, when I tried them on with a "regular" sock, I found them a little tight and I'm sure I'll have to loosen them up a bit. I put on a thinner sock and had absolutely no problems afterwards. All in all, a good buy may just require some braking before it's 100% comfortable.

I usually wear AlpineStars (medium size) hard plastic boots which make me click when I'm not riding and are a little better suited for city riding. These shoes look good (maybe a little tight) and very comfortable. They are good for motorcycle control. I can only hope that they will provide reliable protection in case something should happen. I received them 2 days before I left for a week long trip with Dragon Tail. Based on the reviews I bought a size 10 as I usually wear a size 9.5 with Adidas. The fit was perfect.
