A few holes in the box when the alternator arrived it just cracked it really works but how long will it be it last? I'm not sure

It works great as intended, replace the fan belt at the same time but keep the old one in the trunk as a spare, never know, also check the tensioner pulley to make sure it is is loose or feels dragging, if so, replace those as well.

Works great as intended, replace V-belt at the same time, but leave the old one on the spare wheel in the trunk, you never know, also check the idler pulley, make sure it is loose or rubbing, if so, replace that as well.

is easy to install but gets the job done by charging the tension system. It replaced an old alternator with 245,000 miles and it still worked great. I hope the new one holds up as well. Excellent price. well done

The first alternator I bought for my 2001 Lincoln Town Car lasted 6 months. Over time, charging will stop, causing the accessory to work very slowly at stop signs or red lights. My windshield wipers started crawling, the engine whistled, the headlights dimmed and I had to keep the car idling when it stopped. Came home and the charging system light was on. However, the seller was very helpful in reimbursing the replacement cost. We'll see how long the new alternator lasts.
