I needed a good, comfortable hiking shoe. This brand was recommended to me and I decided to give it a try. I ordered my normal shoe size but even with the wider toe box I had to go up 1/2 a size. The comfort of these shoes was everything I hoped for and more! Although these shoes were a little more expensive than what I usually pay for athletic shoes, I feel they were worth my investment.

I developed plantar fasciitis more than a year ago. Insoles (especially gel insoles) have helped a lot and I have put them in my shoes. A friend recommended this brand and I am very grateful! I fit well, not tight or too loose, and the forefoot is wide, so if you have wide feet that's a plus. I had no pain when walking. You feel the pillow and it's really good. Now I can walk and run on the treadmill without pain. I'll buy a second pair!

These are my favorite everyday shoes! I can walk all day or run 3-5 miles with no problems. I've had Altras in the past and with their moderately cushioned outsole, the zero drop is easy to get used to. I would recommend going half a size up as these altras are a bit tighter than typical altras. I wear a 7.5 in individual picks (my regular shoe size) but ordered an 8 in these. The blue color looks just like the picture and is beautiful!
