This mount barely holds my iPhone 7 Plus with case. I had to upgrade to a thinner body to hold it in the mount. The tilt adjustment slips constantly and the phone tilts backwards while driving. I simply adjusted the mount forward so that it was fully tilted back into the desired field of view. If the fingers held the phone a little longer and the tilt worked harder, that would solve the problems.

Reliable Adjustment is a bit difficult. It attaches to the handlebars very securely, but the knob that controls the tilt and angle isn't tight enough in my opinion, especially compared to the same model previously purchased for another bike. I had to disassemble and tinker with things which helped a little. It is possible that the lock washer provided was too thin or was installed upside down with a flat, non-locking washer. This unit has an angled mounting plate which is handy and allows it to be placed lower rather than something sticking straight out of the handlebars. Each part is metal and appears to be very dense and durable, and it seems that all this is unlikely to wear out quickly with daily use of the device. you will fall anyway I have a protective case on my phone which I would recommend anyway to protect your phone and if you tighten the mount enough it feels more secure and doesn't let the mount crush

What should contain/advertise something that is totally useless? The device is good, durable and strong. However, the sealing tape is a joke. They go away as soon as you put them on - they don't stick where they should be - NOTE the fact that your phone needs to be squeezed quite tightly to keep it securely in place, so padding is a big deal. I love the overall design of this bike phone mount. It fits my iPhone X in a case. Part of the phone holder works as intended and protects the phone.
