Looks sturdy, but actually every detail is molded, not "thick" as it seems. My tool arrived with a slightly bent piece so I tried to bend it back but it broke. What now! The resulting three-piece tool is now up for grabs and will likely never see the light of day until thrown away. Spring.

I used it on a tiling project and had both successes and failures. It worked well for some difficult cuts but proved useless for other cuts. If you use it as an everyday tool I would recommend finding a higher quality tool with tighter tolerances. If you use it once or infrequently, it will work, but you will have to cut part of the tile.

angle measuring device very well processed. Sturdy aluminum rulers. You can easily fix the corners with metal handles. Should be enough for a while. It would be better if the screw heads on the joints were countersunk and lined up with the rulers. With just two layers of rulers, the extra height makes it difficult to follow the shape. Also this angle tool is a solid tool that I can recommend.

This product is probably not of the quality the inventor intended. Half of the stud nuts are not tight enough to hold them in place. I put in washers to try and tighten it but it's still quite disappointing. I still use it occasionally, but now it's in two pieces (with the best two nuts) and I have to be very careful with it to keep the angle from shifting.

got this for a friend of mine who works as a stone and tile contractor to do some work for me around the house where I've had a chance to use it and see how it works . This is very useful when you need to cut complex custom corners. Because the ruler snaps firmly into place, you can define your cut, lock it in place, and then add as many details as you like to that shape without messing around with paper templates. and cut them out. It's also beautifully crafted from solid metal so should stand

I saw a tool similar to this one and decided to research further. I found them to be similar but the Bluebana product seemed more durable and the markings were clear and the black on yellow contrasted well. It also had good customer reviews so I ordered two, one for me and one for my son-in-law who builds and rents a lot for his houses. Cannot hand tighten enough to hold balance in place. That alone makes it almost useless. What appears to be something made out of thick solid metal rods is actually thin, hollowed out cheap die-cast metal. Instead of countersunk T-nuts that would allow the bottom of the scale to sit flat on a flat surface, there are stamped metal brackets that lift it off the surface, making it difficult to draw precise lines. I bought this tool thinking I was going to get "Premium Aluminum" which is very light and strong like aircraft grade aluminum. This is die cast alloy metal scrap. False advertising. And it doesn't lie flat because the metal brackets protrude below (see photo). You can spot injection molding defects due to the protrusion on the sides of the groove that was not removed before painting.
