These paddle shifters work great. They really help me hit the shifters better. They're bigger than the ones in the car, so getting to them is a lot easier now. Definitely worth buying.

Glue garbage, doesn't stick to anything. So I replaced it with some quality 3M glue. Then, when you burst out into bright light, the stem hits the paddle, since the people who made it don't seem to even bother to check it out themselves.

Installed on my 2013 GTI with no problems. The surfaces of the VW paddles were cleaned with rubbing alcohol, allowed to dry and then attached. appear solid; Once attached, there is no lateral movement at all. There's a gap between the switches and the turn signal and the wipers, but not by much. This can be a problem if you wear gloves or have large hands. Works fine for me.
