Does not work with HPU foam. 1/32" deep cutout in 15# HDU foam cannot be removed. The chisel deflects and creates partial gouges, and it's scary to watch. Don't you dare run that thing over 12,000 RPM. If you Don't cut styrofoam, don't do it!

Very good quality. When routing foam, ensure you use a slow feed rate (approximately 100 ipm) and do not exceed the recommended spindle speed of 6000 rpm. This is a very long drill bit and will vibrate and leave an undesirable finish if forced to cut through too much material. Also, make sure you use a regular cut with this nozzle to get a smooth foam surface.
