Typical Amana in very high quality. Due to the small diameter of the shaft in which it runs through the bearing, this nozzle is a bit delicate, but this cannot be avoided. If used properly, this bit will last a long time. I do most of the cuts with a 1/2" or 3/8" bit and then sharpen the corners with that bit. Ideal for luthiers for milling pickup holes.
This is a fantastic cutter when used properly. It seems quite brittle so I would never cut it deeper than a few millimeters or cut too fast with it. But by making shallow cuts and slowly working from a template, I can make indentations for the guitar's lighted truss rod caps. It cuts so cleanly and thoroughly that it leaves a lustrous finish on the wood I've used it with. It cuts through maple, mahogany and cherry with no problem.
When you need precise cuts for your project, this router bit will help.
