This is meant to provide proper water drainage to prevent mold and mildew but that is clearly not true. I was horrified trying to clean the tub and all the mold under the carpet! In an attempt to keep this rug functional I tried washing it in the washing machine on high heat with bleach but it was permanently stained/mouldy. Very disappointed, I didn't realize that until the return date.

This is a bath mat, it's grey, there are suction cups on the underside, there are a lot of them. It is comfortable to stand on. It tends to move after being in place for a while. I got into the tub and the rug slid aside. It is susceptible to mold if not stretched out and dried completely between each use. Works if you live alone. In a family of 4 this is almost impossible. I change it every 3 months for mold/potential mold.

I know the description says it's not for textured or matte finishes but your tub needs to be mirror smooth or the suction cups are almost useless. What's more, the material it's made of is pretty thin. I haven't had a single instance where the carpet didn't wrinkle or move when I got out of the bathroom. Your feet may not slip on the mat, but the bath mat does. The carpet does not provide enough airflow to dry the area under the carpet. I haven't kept it long enough to find out what types of…

I just moved in and accidentally forgot my bathmat. It was the same carpet as this one, just a different color. Although I love this rug, I ordered a different brand. Big mistake. He didn't stick to the tub and nearly caused an accident. I went back to Amazon and immediately ordered the amazer bath mat in white. Problem solved. The first photo was taken 4 weeks ago, when I was writing this review. Since then it has been positioned 6 times. Photos 2-3 just show his current position after showering two babies.
