I hesitated to buy this after reading some of the reviews about how difficult it was to assemble. I'm glad I decided to purchase. I found assembly very easy. Everything was provided and it took me 15 minutes to assemble it myself. I pressed the shelves down firmly with a rubber mallet, otherwise I only needed what was in the box for assembly. The only work surface in my kitchen is the very small space around the kitchen sink and I have very little cabinet space. I wanted to find something to put between the stove and fridge to serve as extra space and have a shelf for the microwave. This product was absolutely perfect! So the "brackets" that hold the shelves in place have a little protrusion on the inside. If you slide them until they "snap" onto the bars, they stay together (each in 2 pieces) until you slide the shelves down. The rods have small round indentations about every 2 inches. I UNDERSTOOD THIS FOREVER TO UNDERSTAND THIS. The instructions don't mention this. That could have saved me about 30-45 minutes. Very dumb. for the price (I paid $50). I received the car on time and in good condition. The car is very easy to assemble and makes a fairly stable impression.
