Really impressed with the quality, price and style of these boots. Children's hiking boots are terrible, and these are your classic boots. Very thick sole and thick padding throughout. Good ankle support and laces. I ordered a size up and hope they last at least until summer.

For the price it was actually quite nice. Bought the same size as my kid and they fit well. Very happy with it and he likes to wear it, especially in the fall. I went hiking in it and didn't complain about any pain in my legs.

My sons are picky about shoes. We made them waterproof and he wears them in the woods. He says they are comfortable and keep his feet warm. (He's wearing thermal socks. And the boots still fit) We changed the laces to no tie. And they were the best walking shoes. I will buy the next size up.

I was surprised at how good the quality is for the price. One of the lace holes has already come loose, but that's not necessary. As a person with small feet and a job that involves a lot of walking, they hold up just as well as expensive boots. I love her so far.

My boy walked Alaska, ice glaciers, and rocky trails in these boots for about two weeks. There are no complaints about him at all. The only thing I would advise is to use velcro instead of laces. My boy has started tying his shoelaces but it takes time.

Excellent walking shoes. I bought these for my daughter and we traveled through moderate terrain. Great grip, fit and easy on and off. No chafing, leg ulcers or blisters. "Super Comfortable" We definitely recommend these boots for your budding archaeologist.

I have a large child size 5 for my daughter who wears size 4 shoes and she swims in them, I wear size 6.5 women's shoes and I can easily wear size 5 with socks comfortably. Although they are great! We bought two pairs and while they won't fit my kids this summer I know they will grow up with them and it's a great alternative to the $70 Colombian ones :)
