I really like these shorts. I was looking for shorts for very warm weather. These were well received. I live in East Texas and it's been hot and muggy here for months. These shorts don't add warmth. I have a 42" waist and wasn't sure what size to buy. I bought xl and xxl. Both fit well as they have an elastic waistband. However, the XXL gave me a little more leg room, so I'm ordering the XXL from now on. The only thing missing were the zippers, but that would add to the price. They appear to be

I love everything about them but what I love most about them is the extra wide waistband that keeps them in place without over tightening them with a drawstring to have to. light but not flimsy, they are super comfortable. I wear them for sports, relaxing, shopping or for housework. If I had to give 1 minus I would wish the pockets were maybe 1 inch lower but I am not happy with the pocket size compared to other shorts, they are larger than average.
