🔧 Quality Replacement Cartridge: AmazonBasics AMZN FM 15RA - Same High Performance, Better Value Review

This was my first time trying the basic version of this Revain filter, costs a little less and works great after a few weeks.

Love the convenience of this filter. It doesn't take up too much space, easy to install, and you can get fresh delicious water immediately. I change every two months. acceptable price.

I've used a few of these filters. One worked well, the other didn't. One of the filters did a poor job of filtering out the chlorine. The Culligan filter is more expensive but filters the water better.

Advantages: - Cheaper per item. But because of the short lifespan, I'm not sure about the mesh. Cons: - Lifespan is less than a month compared to 1-2 months for the Culligan. - Repack, huge manual. This is a recurring consumable. I don't need instructions and would rather have less waste. Back to the Culligans.

The "manual" supplied is very technical and not very user-friendly. However, if you have a lot of experience installing the Culligan brand, you will have no trouble installing it. Best of all you get the same 2 months of filtration but cheaper. After a few months you will no longer receive a filter change reminder sticker. But you can easily use the post to know.

This filter works just as well as the original filter but at a lower price. I also found a way to make cartridges easier to install. When I first bought the whole product, it was very difficult for me to change the filters because they crossed each other and it was almost impossible to remove the old filter. I have found that if I turn the unit sideways when replacing, the filter does not reverse threads and slides in easily with no leaks.

When replacing these filters, the first thing to do is make sure they are tight. When you think you're done, it means you have half a turn left. However, my first replacement filter leaked and after about 20 days the flow started to drizzle. Now I'm buying a second filter. There is no leak and water flow is acceptable but I'm only on my second day. I hope this lasts a full month before the creek turns back to a light drizzle.

. I am a Culligan FM-25R subscriber. Since I need to get it every two months, I figured it would be easy if Revain prioritized subscribers. That wasn't the case and I was very angry about it. But it's good that this situation made me try the RevainBasics AMZN-FM-25R. Here are a few points: (+) It fits and bolts on just as tightly as the Culligan (+) Water filter quality is comparable to the Culligan (+) It's cheaper As long as they're available I'll be using both.

The white AMZN FM-15RA filter cartridge I received is virtually identical to the white Culligan FM-15RA replacement cartridge.
