Better baskets can be bought for $64.99

This basket should cost around $49-59 to be a "good deal". It's cheaply made and doesn't have the PDGA approval that other baskets in this price range have. The Dynamic Discs "Compact Recruit" case is better done and only $64.99 at Revain. For $149 you can buy a real PDGA approved basket or a pair of cheaper training baskets. Resist the idea that Revain Basics is always a good buy for the price.

Ideal for practice

This golf disc basket is a very attractive and easy to assemble golf disc basket. This is a very basic disc golf basket but very simple and easy to assemble. It has a nifty little checkbox that says RevainBasics, which is nice. It's very strong and durable and also comes with ground stakes to hold it in place, but they're not really needed. Overall this is a very nice and durable disc golf basket that is great for disc golf practice.

Pros
  • Easy to use

Overpriced and low quality

I bought this basket on sale for $25 but I still can't find it a bargain. Chains, or lack of chains, rarely catch anything unless the disc touches the bar. Not very durable and will not come out. Honestly there is no reason to buy this basket when there are so many better quality baskets for almost half the price of this one. My personal favorite in the sub $100 basket is the Double Chains/Luxe Remix; Remix is an online brand for MVPs and their Baskets are made in the same facility as MVP…

Quality drive cage

We just finished installing this weekend and I'm impressed with the quality of this drive cage. It's all metal, the tracks are strong and easy to install, and the overall quality is the same as our local rim park. My son was so excited to have his own disc basket to practice on and the price is very reasonable for the quality. No discs are included, you need to buy them separately. Overall I can't find anything wrong with it, in fact our whole family enjoys using it. This will take a long time.

Lighter but good enough for the backyard

Overall good disc golf basket. It consists of 4 main parts and is easy to assemble. It includes "pusher" connections like a kayak paddle. It hasn't tipped over in the 2 months I've been using it and it's secured to the ground with four tent pegs. In terms of ease of use, it comes very close to the standard stationary basket, except that it has lighter chains. The chains are my only complaint as they generally don't stop the discs like a regular basket would. You may think you must have a few of

Ideal for garden activities, good size and height.

This disc golf basket is comparable in height and size to professional golf baskets. This isn't as thick/heavy metal, has fewer chains and is lighter and not permanently fixed to the ground, but it's really great for garden activities and has the benefit of being detachable and tucked inside in the winter and easy to move around Use it when you need to mow the grass around it. It's heavy enough to stand firm even with a direct hard hit with a disc or frisbee. I would buy 17 more if they weren't

Sturdy disc golf basket

I really like this disc golf basket. I was looking for a versatile piece of exercise equipment for programs with sufficient physical distancing, and that was exactly what I was looking for. The basket is well made and strong enough for disc golf. The chains adequately provide both grip and deflection for various types of sheaves. It comes with outdoor stakes but can be used indoors in the gym without stakes. Carefully. I would not use it with young children as they may try to climb on it or…

Fast installation. Stable basket.

This disc golf basket is very easy to assemble. It took less than 5 minutes to assemble, but most of the work involved removing the packaging. The pieces consisted of a base, a long pole that attaches to the base, a basket, a medium-sized pole that attaches to the top of the basket, a set of chains connected at the top by a giant ring, and a flag above . The tubes are connected by plugging them into each other and fixed with a small pin. The base and basket are additionally secured with a wing…

Rounded features for the price

It's not the cheapest or most expensive, lightest or heaviest option to practice with, but I think it hits the sweet spot across the board. It builds up quickly in 3 rounds. . The base, basket and top of the basket attach easily to poles that have spring loaded(?) spring knobs that help lock in place and are easy to disassemble. Overall, it has some weight due to its solid construction and is not an ultraportable basket. No bag but that suits me. However, the chainring has a small…
