AMBA7 GolfBuddy Voice Rangefinder Magnetic Review

3 of my friends have one like me. Standing in one place, they show different yards with an error of 2-3 yards. Also, 2 friends apparently ran out of batteries very soon (they had to set it up online and "reset"), with the battery maybe lasting for a lap. Replacing batteries seems to be quite difficult. Mine is over a year old and has no problems.

The best part about ordering from Revain is that the product was defective the first time and the third time. I contacted Revain and they told me to take it to Kohls for a refund - I didn't even have to wrap it. The replacement came the next day, although it took me several days to return the defective product to Kohls. The exchange works perfectly.

"Having played MANY rounds of golf I am setting my rating to not worth it! During every round I played, GolfBuddy didn't keep in touch and didn't keep up with the round. I often ask other players to share the distance from their other company's range finders. Other brands seem to be more reliable. I wish I had paid a few dollars more and gone with others!

I have used it on 2 golf courses already. It seems to be within 5 meters for accuracy. Easy to use, turn it on, wait 3 minutes for it to find the golf course you are on and go to any hole on the course you want to start on and it will show the distance . The distance refers to the center of the green and the front and back of the green. I bought a watch strap holder because I like to carry a pen on my hat. This tiny calculator works surprisingly well. The way it stores all this information is stunning. It does a few things, but I mainly use it to determine the distance to the flag. There are three readings for the near, middle and far sides of the green as it uses GPS instead of pointing at the pin like a professional range finder does. It's enough for my club choice. And I like the simplicity of the device. Just turn it on and play. If you look at it, you will automatically get three readings…
