I used Lid Master at another pottery shop and found it very useful. So when I found that the new one I'm using didn't have it, I had to buy it. Everyone loves to use it and it makes getting a properly fitting lid pretty easy.

I really like this gadget. Not only does it transfer the inside dimensions of the bowl to the outside dimensions of the lid, but it also has multiple adjustments to compensate for shrinkage. This allows you to measure a burnt pot and create a new lid without the math.
