Very soft and plush feel, my baby just loved snuggling and sleeping on it. The only downside is that the sides don't have elastic and are constantly gathering in lumps on the sides. Yes, it's more expensive than regular cotton sheets, but it's worth it. Soft like velvet, doesn't absorb moisture like cotton. Prevents your child from lying in a very wet bed when they drool or spit up a little and reduces the chances of them getting a rash. My baby seems to like to sleep on it too. I had this material for my co-sleeping and loved it so was very happy to find it for my backpack and the games my baby currently sleeps in (with an upgraded mattress).
