I removed the foam and taped the backing back onto the cardboard to give me the extra space I needed for my purposes. I ordered more of these to make a larger collection and the background has changed. Unfortunately, I didn't get around to it until the return window changed. I hate when people change their product but keep the same list.

Very disappointing. Far from being square, the insert protruded into the frame and was clearly visible and was a huge eyesore. The glass was poorly cut resulting in it being oversized, jagged and very sharp. Almost on it himself when he pulled it out of the box. I was disappointed as it looked like a good shadow box but poor quality control causes me to return it.

DO NOT buy for magazines! There just isn't enough room to safely insert the lugs into the frame from the back, making it completely unsafe! My magazine is not fat at all. I've tried two of these frames with exactly the same result. Useless! It looks like it would be great for showing a shadow box, but definitely not for playing a magazine on disk unless you have ONLY the front page showing and not the entire magazine.

I have a script from a TV show episode that I wanted to frame but I can't seem to find the right shadow box type that looks good. I got this one, and while it wasn't perfect for what I wanted: it's rear-loaded so it doesn't sit against the glass, and the inner frame is smaller than 8.5 x 11, so you're only a quarter inch of the Originals have 8.5x11. area, and the frame covers part of the front, so the visible glass area is also less than 8.5 x 11.
