AMI PARTS Microwave Replacement Whirlpool Kitchen & Dining Review

A short bulb of this exact size is very hard to find, expensive and the only one that fits my 5 year old Whirlpool microwave above the range. Happy to find a cheap 4 pack at a good price as they only last 6-9 months (I use them all the time).

We installed it and after a couple of weeks it "blown" or so we thought. Eventually we got to the replacement and found the bulb had fallen off the base. How does this happen? Now let's try to remove the base from the microwave. Took a break to write a review. NOT WORTH THE PAIN.

AMI Parts microwave lamps - pure junk! Four packs lasted four months in our over-the-stove microwave. At the very least, they create persistent junk that only lasts about a month at a time with very minimal use. Bring the lamps to AMI Parts, they are no better than the cheaper ones. Will try Blue Stars microwave bulbs hoping they are better quality.

Exactly what I was looking for. My Kenmore microwave has 2 light settings. bright and dark. Pressing the button once makes it bright, pressing it again dims it. These light bulbs do. I had other LED bulbs and they didn't dim, they only had one setting and for some reason they started flickering. But these bulbs are perfect, what could be happier.

These lamps were well packaged and delivered quickly. The seller responded quickly to my order. These are replacement bulbs so I cannot reliably judge their performance until I use them. Note. For anyone who needs to change a lightbulb in a Whirlpool microwave oven, you should watch the YouTube tutorial video first. These bulbs are protected by silicone and the silicone must be cut (with dental floss) before you can remove the old bulb from the stove socket.
