WILL NOT WORK ON MY 30 " APPLE CINEMA DISPLAY

I bought 2 of these to have my MacBook Pro upgrade my old 30" Apple Display Theater to CableCreation Type C for The Mini with The DP adapter I used over the Apple Mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI Adapter got a bit wonky. Suffice to say, none of these adapters worked. I only had a blank 30" monitor, although it appeared the computer recognized the connected external monitor. I don't know why my setup is different from everyone who said their Amiroko adapters worked correctly - it looks like we…

  • High test scores for support and durability

I'm excited! to DVI-HDMI Adapter

I managed (finally!) to connect my MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2016, four Thunderbolt 3 ports) to my Korean 27-inch monitor with a resolution of 2560 x 1400 to connect! It's been a long road friends I've tried and failed with so many adapter and cable combos and finally this is the Amiroko USB-C to Mini Displayport Adapter + Apple Mini Displayport to Dual Link DVI adapter + my existing USB-C (Thunderbolt 3 ) to USB hub/splitter adapter. = SUCCESS. What didn't work: 1. USB-C (Thunderbolt 3) to DVI…

Connect your 2018 MBP to a 30-inch full-resolution 2560 x 1600 cinema

This Amiroko adapter and a Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to USB adapter (see photo) allows you to connect your 2018 MBP to a 30" full-resolution 2560x1600 cinema. You need an Apple Mini DisplayPort for dual-link DVI adapter to interface between the MBP and the 30-inch film display. (See photo. My monitor came with it when I bought it years ago. I'm not sure it always was.) From the Apple Mini DisplayPort to the dual-link DVI adapter, you've got USB and Mini display cable. You connect directly to the 2…

macOS Big Sur 11.3.1 or 11.4 doesn't work with 30 " Cinema Display

I don't have this adapter that works with two computers running Big Sur. Reviewers in 2018 and 2019 reported success with earlier versions of the operating system. Must be Big Sur's fault. I know the monitor and display adapter work fine because I've used them for years with my iMac (27" Mid 2011) running 10.13. 6. MONITOR: Cinema Display (30 inch DVI (Late 2005) (M9179LL/A) DVI- to-MDP: Apple Mini DisplayPort to Dual Link DVI Adapter (model A1306) upgradeed to iMac (Retina 5K, 27", 2020)…

Excellent service

I had a HecToo (brand) computer device to connect my old Macintosh Cinema Display to my new MacBook Pro laptop. It seemed to work. I say "kinda" because my Cinema Display screen often got very blurry and I had to remove and reinsert the HecToo at least five times when it was connected to the laptop before the screen would reset to a clear view. A friend recommended the Amiroko version of the connector. The first didn't work. I emailed through Revain and almost immediately received a response…

This adapter doesn't work for me with two computers running Big Sur. , It must be Big Sur's fault. I know the monitor and display adapter work well because I've used them for years with my iMac (27" Mid 2011) running 10.13.6. MONITOR: Cinema Display (30" DVI Late 2005) (M9179LL/A). DVI to MDP: Apple Mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI Adapter (model A1306) updated on iMac (Retina 5K 27" 2020) with Big Sur 11.4. See photo for an example of an unusable video display. It works, but it's cheap and inexpensive

I have an old 30 inch film monitor that I've been using for many years. I had a Dual Link DVI graphics card on my Mac Pro, then a Mini DisplayPort adapter for the Macbook Pro, and finally I was trying to get a USB-C adapter for my new Macbook Pro. * Works with Mini DisplayPort adapter. Of course, please heed the warnings that this is not a Thunderbolt adapter, but if you use the right parts it will work. Bad: It's cheap. My main complaint is that the actual mini DisplayPort jack they plug into…
