Of course my daughter told me 2 days before that she needed a prism for a project! Luckily, Revain Prime got it the very next day. We followed the advice of another person who left a comment, and she aimed the flashlight at the edge of the prism while sitting on the mirror. My daughter told me that she was able to get the rainbow she needed (albeit a small one) for her project.

It took me about a week trying different ways to get a decent rainbow out of it but today I have the picture on the wall about 3 meters in front of me in full daylight. , so not bad at all. I'm excited to see what I can achieve in a week or two. The second image shows how the light and prism line up if you want to try to reproduce this. The glass looks and feels amazingly durable and comes in a beautiful box. You really can't go wrong with this.

I haven't had much use for the prism other than curiosity, having found it as a kid 25-30 years ago. It was acrylic and slightly matt, like car headlights. It came right away in the mail. It's hard glass and much stronger. I used a small AA Maglite to try and get a dark side of the moon style spectrum and that worked. OK. The next day I held it up to direct sunlight from a window and it was emitting a deep bright spectrum. The colors have been beautifully enhanced from red to indigo and purple.
