Set of 100 prepared biology slides, including plants, insects, and animal tissues, for use in biological education. Samples preserved in cedar wood oil and sealed with a coverslip to preserve specimens and prevent contamination. Labeling provides specimen identification. Slides are composed of optical glass for clear viewing. Set comes in fitted wooden storage box to prevent breakage and ease handling.

Well prepared set of slides!

A VERY good set for exploring the tiny world of cells and biology! Each slide is well prepared and saves me time preparing the slide EVEN IF I could get all the samples included in this set!

The quality is ok but don't expect too much

I'm an amateur. For me this is normal. The quality is NOT very good so I'm sure more serious hobbyists won't like it. I'll clarify a bit: - I couldn't find a couple of samples at all. - Air bubbles and dust particles on most slides. Bottom line: if you (with kids) are looking for interesting patterns to look at, fine. If you're more serious - look for something better (I don't have a specific recommendation).

Good set - botanical and zoological balance

I like this set. Some of the zoological slides are dedicated to the many tissue samples from frogs and dogs. About half of the slides (unlike some other sets) are botanical. Botanical slides also have some themes like stems, leaves, pollen. It's nice to have some variety to compare and contrast within a given concept. I set A which is very interesting but I think for general learning this is a much better overview to start with. So far there is no overlap between sentences. Sorry I don't have…
