Since HP was running low on toner, I took the opportunity to print out a test page to compare HP and Amstech. It's almost impossible to tell the difference in quality from the photo. I am using this product with an HP M281fdw color laser printer. Firmware data code 20190419. Cartridges accepted as champion. I disabled the ink cartridge policy. Loading the cartridges was easy enough. I was worried when I pulled the tongue that I was pulling too hard, but it comes out fully and is very long. It breaks off when you pull it out all the way. I've printed about 1000 pages with these toner cartridges so I've had some benefit, but now two toner cartridges are streaking when printing. The problem is that the developer blade is dirty which must have some debris on it and when the developer roller spins it leaves lines on it. This is a recycled product, the problem may be due to remanufacturing and improper cleaning. If they are new cartridges I would say that the problem is with very cheap toner. With the latest October firmware update for my HP Color LaserJet MFP M281cdw printer, these cartridges are no longer recognized and no longer work. The printer screen shows that it cannot communicate with the cartridges and therefore the printer is not working. Before the update, the cartridges worked perfectly. DO NOT BUY!
