While they're cute, the velcro stitching is a joke! My daughter wore them 1 time and the Velcro came loose. We sent them back for an exchange. After wearing the second pair for a maximum of 10 minutes, the same thing happened! I'm not even joking. She literally just put them on! I rarely write reviews but these shoes let me down.

My daughter loves them very much (that's why I give 2 stars). But after wearing them for 3 weeks...here's what we get (see attachment).

Wrong size, bought these for my niece who is a size 11 who also has skinny legs and they were too small in width and length, I recommend going one size up!

Bought these shoes for Disney, we liked that they sent an extra set of bow ties because we really lost one in a few days. They are very cute and match her outfit perfectly. The velcro for the strap was too big and my daughter's foot is small and petite for her age and she could hardly keep up. I'm not sure how much smaller the foot can get. The Velcro stopped rubbing and scratching her legs.

My 5 year old girls wore them with Elsa and Belle dresses to Disneyland and they were comfortable and heard no complaints. They have run for miles and still look like new. I found the Velcro to hold up better than some of the tennis shoes they had, very secure. They even wore them to the pool. They are well made and durable, I am happy with my purchase. We bought a blue pair and a yellow gold color.
