Easy to use. Well dimensioned strain relief. Be sure to use heat shrink tubing to get the correct wire size for the strain relief. A good product. Fast arrival. Takes solder well.

Bad internal connection with connector. You need to partially pull out to connect, when fully inserted there is no connection. This is for the first 4 out of 5 so far. Heck, I sent them back and am awaiting a refund.

These connectors are terrible - two of them had to be thrown away because the terminals were reversed and the third had to be cut off after shrinking because it was too hot. The plug does not remain inside the socket housing. Difficult to solder and not heat resistant at all!

Insufficient handpiece grip for a secure connection. I thought maybe I applied too much heat during the soldering process, but when I checked several others still in the box they all showed the same loose fit. I probably should have read more reviews before deciding on this one.

This Christmas I disassembled my Nintendo Wii Guitar Hero World Tour complete set and found that the pedal wires were crumbling and breaking. So I bought this, soldered the wires back in place and put them back together. Now I have a working pedal and it's a sturdier and more reliable cable and connection.

Too early to tell. The product looks great! However, I have to wait until I get a plug that completes the connection. Based on their description, they should work well together. I will evaluate them again when the male parts (from China) arrive. If they work, there will definitely be 5 for everyone.

Bought for my niece who has CP to make some assisted touch toys cheaper than buying already modded ones and took her to test out some designs. They are easy to assemble but as far as durability goes I think they will wear out quicker than others due to the poor quality plastic shell but they are great for testing. Overall I'm happy with them and will review them again when the time comes.

I found that these connectors are not a true TRS connection as they are intact with both the ferrule and the ring terminal. Looking at the wiring tabs I hesitated but went ahead anyway. With most connections this can easily escape, but with the separation of the tip and ring for individual channels this became evident when testing for continuity. These ties are not a big loss but are unfortunate to lose two braids in the process.
