Misleading Product for Tools and Equipment

Works for basic functions. On my e46 2004 nothing happened with registering the battery. 3 stars for ease of use and basic features.

Worked great on my BMW n62, 745Li! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

This scanner helped me a lot. I highly recommend it! I have used it on my 2003 BMW 745Li with great success. It has special BMW functions for your electronic problems.

Perfect for battery registration

It was really easy to get into the trickier parts of my 5 series. Registering a battery also costs money, if you have friends with projectors, just help them out and save them dealer fees.

Big Bang for the Dollar!

Works great with my 2011 328i. Can easily read and erase trouble codes. Found ABS sensor failures that I could replace myself for a fraction of the cost if the dealer did. Has already paid for itself. Very easy to use and very useful item for my toolbox!

Works great on BMW i3

After replacing the 12v battery on my BMW i3 I used this article to reset fault codes and register a new battery in the car. Went like clockwork! Relatively easy to use and took about five minutes. Worth every penny and way cheaper than some other OBD2 scanners.

Ideal for BMW owners

I have another scanner which was much more expensive but didn't have all the functionality needed to service my BMW. It has features such as battery registration, which is critical to extending the life of the battery and charging system by preventing over- or under-operation. Things you don't realize until you need them. Great scanner for the money.

Amazing, especially for the price

This code reader has exceeded my expectations, not only is it in-depth, it performs diagnostics that most would have to bring to the store and spend lots of money to study. If you don't know anything about cars or don't understand air/fuel ratio and compression stress I would stick to the path to professional help or google youtube and get a manual for your car before doing whatever -either diagnose with it or change anything. The only complaint I have is that it's not touchscreen, but that's…

One of the few inexpensive devices that can read headlight setting codes

I have an unusual light on my dashboard. After a bit of research, I discovered that my Lexus has automatic headlight range control (which no longer corrects). I have studied several code readers and very few have advertised that they can decode headlight alignment errors. I bought this and without even opening the manual I was able to quickly diagnose that it was a bad sensor on the rear wheel. Looking around a bit, I found a severed wire in a secluded spot.
