One of the best monitors I have ever used

One of the best monitors I have ever used. The 5" is great for small setups, perfect for my Sony a7s and Canon C500. It has spikes, zebras, aspect ratio markers and waveforms. Not super bright but good for outdoor use, definitely better than a7s monitor. I wish they had SDI -Added inputs and an HDMI loop.

Pros
  • Many will do
Cons
  • Factor set

Radar approved! for video monitors

Excellent monitor for such a price. It's not perfect, but it's great for what I need it for. HD resolution with 4k capability. I love the fact that it flips, and while the screen doesn't flip automatically and you have to press the preset button three times to adjust it with each flip, I can pick it up for less than $200. Watch my video review for all the details, but it's a valuable addition to my movie setup. Definitely radar checked!

Pros
  • There's something in there
Cons
  • Weak set

Died after about 5 uses. *Edit* helped a bit

Preparing for a big shoot, I went to check my gear and this thing doesn't signal me or really turn on. The light is on but no image is displayed. Tried different batteries, new cable, everything. no bone. This item has been removed and is a waste of money. Sure, I think it's awesome, but the latest product did what it did. Let's hope this one lasts longer. Thank you!

The best 5 inch monitor! (Under $200)

Having used it on a few small projects I am really impressed with this monitor. The screen isn't as good as a $1200 Atomos monitor or a small HD monitor, but the build really surprised me. It doesn't feel fragile like most monitors in this price range. I used it on camera and installed it on my Ronin. It lasts hours on my np970 batteries. I'm really impressed with the overall construction and value of this product. The only thing I don't like is that the handle on the back touches the cold shoe

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Negative is present

Good value for money

This monitor is good for those starting out with YouTube at home. Value for money with some basic features, build quality is the weak point of this device but it still lasted me 3 years with little use. The arm is a little loose both where it holds the monitor and where it goes into the hot shoe, so I recommend it more for home studio use. While on the move, the monitor can accidentally slip out, and I don't think this plastic-made monitor will withstand a fall. It has a really cool feature…

Good value for money

The design of this monitor and mount may appeal to many. The first monitor I got from the company worked but didn't go through the camera settings. I pressed the "DISP" button and turned the camera (GH5) and monitor on and off multiple times. There are videos on YT showing this monitor working as it should. Fortunately, the company responded very quickly and sent me a replacement monitor. The mount that came with the new monitor didn't fit the cold shoe so they sent me a new mount. UPDATE…

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Not the best

Incredible value for money

I heard about Andicine from a friend who admires it. I thought the price was too good to be true but also too good to pass up so I bought a few of their items, the first being this A6 monitor. I have no words for how good this monitor is for the price. With what you get and the features this monitor has, you're really lucky at a time we live in as filmmakers. This monitor has focus peaking, false color, anamorphic mode, 16x zoom, incredible sharpness and clarity, a swivel mount and even comes…

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • boring packaging

It works but has many disadvantages.

I really have mixed feelings. In some cases, the screen offers good value for money. It's not the best quality, but it has a reasonable range of options and features. There are just a few minor issues. I had no issues with the screen, picture quality, or signal. One thing I thought was nice was the installation of a fold out bracket. The arm itself is fine, it doesn't always go straight, but that's not the point. Flip doesn't work very well. You have to tighten it just enough to be able to turn

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Somewhat easy to care for

Quality monitor at a great price

A few years ago I was thinking about adding a video monitor to my camera. Back then, I traveled to conferences and conventions like CES and wanted to see what was being recorded. One of the most important considerations for the monitor was its portability. Older field monitors were bulky and could not be easily attached to the camera. I wanted something that would attach to the camera along with lights and a microphone. So I looked at smaller HDMI field monitors from companies like Small HD…

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Something different
