I often have art students paint large ceramic tiles for Christmas or Mother's Day and the tile is perfect for that. You can also paint a small motif on the bag as a teaser.

I can confirm that they handle HTV very well. I place the parchment paper inside the pouch and also on the vinyl on the outside before pressing it at 300° for 15 seconds. Then I turned the pack over and squeezed another 15 seconds. I did this for every child in my child's first grade.
