💇 Annie 10-inch Long Flexible Twist-flex Hair Roller Rods, 11/16-inch Gray Review

I have used these reels for many years and love them. I prefer 1/4" (lavender) for tight control and 3/4" (yellow) and unless you have very long hair, don't go for 10" long. If you're on a budget... still support your local cosmetic suppliers or buy directly from Annie Inc where the price is about 25-30% cheaper.

I bought the purple ones. You have no wire! So you can't shape them so that they close around your hair properly after you curl them. They have a pin on the end that snaps on the other side like a clasp, but it's just a giant ring and my hair slides right out. I liked the size but I can't use it. For the record, I have mostly straight Caucasian hair and have used other flexible wands (with internal wires) with success.

I needed foam rollers but didn't have access to a makeup store so I bought them, they worked well and knew the purpose! My hair turned out great.

They are perfect for creating beautiful medium curls. I'm African American and my hair is loose and falls over my shoulders. I cut my poles in half since I have short hair. So I get 12 small chopsticks instead of six. They still work the same. They are of good quality and last a long time. There were no problems with breakage or incorrect operation. Will definitely order more if needed.

My hair goes below my waist. Therefore, most flexible rods are too short. This is the perfect size. The only criticism is the smell. You definitely need to let them air out for at least a week. But that's the case with everything I've bought and not just with this brand.

There is nothing I don't like. I used red and blue flex rods from this brand. I did some clips with Tanashi Maylasian Kinky Strait Hair 14-16 inches and Lotta Body Coconut Mousse, wrapping the frothy mousse around me to set the curls and the results were gorgeous, a million dollar feel! Flexible rods have great mobility, a simple twist fixes your hair. I let them dry for 2 hours, but after an hour they dried out, and then I divided a spiral curl into 4-5 parts.

If you've used flexible wands, you know they need an inner wire to twist and tie them. The product pictured looks like this, with the ends closed. However, the rods sold have an "Easy Snap" end, and the rods themselves are flexible and shapeless. I will definitely come again.
