Every time I tried to curl my hair, the clasp fell out. It's so frustrating when your hair is in curlers and you're trying to fasten the clasp and have to try and snap the plastic clasp back in place, I don't think these are good curlers.

These aren't the greatest commercials. The term "jumbo" is misleading. However, they are ideal for smoothing frizzy hair and adding volume (rather than curl) to thin, limp hair. It's hard to find the item! Would buy again!

Order about three times more than you think you will need. I started with one pack and then my crown looked so good but the rest was still a frizzy mess. Then I ordered a second pack and I have them, but I also just ordered a third pack.

These reels are nothing like the ones I've used in the past. The poorly designed sponge fell off the flimsy frame and is now useless after just one use! I really regret spending money on 2 packs! What waste!

Yes, they fall apart at the worst possible moment. Yes, it's annoying, but you pay $5. If you're new to vintage style, they ALL fall apart no matter the price. Old hands, they do their job.
