I've been using this appliance for a few months now and can't imagine cooking a steak without it. If you love a good steak, you should have it. I don't use the Bluetooth function because it's a complete gimmick (all cooking devices that offer it). I work in IT and I just want to push a button and get the perfect steak. Using Bluetooth seems to take a lot of hops according to other reviews. I've actually read reviews that updating the device forces you to use Bluetooth, so I avoided all of that.

UPDATE: Great until seemingly unmated plugs melt, destroying the device and potentially burning your house down. Anova's answer? "Your warranty has expired." Your products should be recalled immediately, EXTREMELY dangerous. And if you google "Anova Melted Cork" you will see that there are many others with the same problem.
