Looks like fiberglass construction. Definitely high quality. Nice upgrade from the original cable I used which required a small adapter. This cable solved this problem and has a good margin. You need a good quality cable, it will get the job done!

Purchased to extend the antenna on the Mighty Mule gate opener. When purchasing an antenna, make sure there is no RP before the model number. This is called reverse polarity and means the electrical connector on the antenna is missing the tiny pin in the center of the female screw connector and will not work with this cable.

When installing a gate opener (MM371W) this cable was recommended for increased performance. I did not install the boosted antenna recommended by the poster as the standard antenna works well when well exposed. In the photo, the solar panel is mounted on a pole, but how do you install a standard antenna? With a hole in a regular hose clamp with the chassis nut on the zip tie (on one end). While this looks like great quality I have no idea how this cable will perform outdoors but I took a chance

and with magnetic antenna in truck. Works perfectly! Really helps to get the signal out with the magnetic antenna on the roof and this extension cord allows me to sit and chat comfortably in the truck ;) This cord on the antenna is both short and too heavy to hold in my hand . Get one for your setup
