I bought this for the very thin top of my Classic Mini Cooper dashboard to keep my glasses and garage out of the way. The dashboard is relatively slippery but has never fallen off in 2 months. I think if I tried slalom everything would go wrong, but for normal driving it's Schnizl!

I was disappointed that this mat does not support my iPhone 7+ as it keeps tipping over. I was hoping I could put it on my dashboard. Because the phone is too big for him, he doesn't hold the phone securely. So while it's a solid pillow, it's not designed for just any phone and doesn't serve my purpose when I bought it.

That's a great idea! Great for small items but doesn't hold my phone. This is normal as I only use it for small items (lighter, cigarettes, garage clicker). I have a Samsung Note 3 so it's a bit shorter than most phones. This also works on my curved dash on my 2013 Ford Edge! Overall a good price for the extra storage but not the best phone holder.

If your dashboard is pretty flat, this is a good buy. Feels like thick rubber, not cheap or flimsy. The underside is grippy but not sticky or messy. It's possible to hold a full-size phone in the directional grooves on the side when not competing in a Grand Prix. It has separate compartments for coins or other small items in pockets. If you're looking for one of these in the market, you can't go wrong here.

I bought this tray not so much as a phone holder as to mute the overwhelming volume of the center speaker in the dash of my 2020 Subaru Ouitback with HK sound system. For that it works PERFECTLY. The sound field is now spread across the dashboard and separation has been restored. The difference is very noticeable. As a bonus, the tray adds much-needed storage capacity in the cab. They are great I've tried other dashboards and they just don't measure up and it's better than losing my phone and keys in the car and looking aimlessly The only thing what I don't like is that it separates your phone from another slot that other people will probably like. Take off what I saw while driving but they are good quality, I don't think you could easily break them even if you tried, they have a good grip.
