If you have a frameless monitor like mine, I should warn you that the screen strip covers the top of the monitor. When you search Google Chrome in full screen, you cannot see what you are typing in the search bar. Also on my Windows desktop, the first line is covered by the on-screen bar, so I had to move the icons down one line, which I don't really care. Also, the on-screen bar is great and the lighting can be very bright so you might need to dim it a bit when looking at a monitor.

I really wanted a 'BAR' task light but couldn't justify $120 on a branded offering. I found this product that gives me the lighting options and work station covers I wanted at a fraction of the price. A recurring issue in reviews was that the spring tension was too high in weight, causing the lamp to not tilt properly. front and I found it true. The light of this device is amazing. Well done, lots of bright different tones, good spread. I would buy this item again. However, there are two things that weren't perfect. First, the multi-position adjustment is loose in one or two positions. So if you need one of these positions, you might be a bit unlucky. I am very happy with this product. It doesn't "blur" the monitor it's plugged into and is bright enough to light up most of a table. My "home office" is a 48" x 24" height adjustable desk with two large monitors. suspended from adjustable monitor arms. This light works well. It illuminates my workspace (including the pen and tablet for writing and drawing) without glaring on the screens of the two monitors and keyboards I need it for. The brightness and color temperature settings are fine for me. The controller sits awkwardly on the power cable, but after the "right" settings I no longer need to touch the controller.
