Once you understand how it works, it does its job well. The item I received had a different color velcro than the one pictured; However, this did not affect its function. If they were a little cheaper I would order a few more for other hoses.

I'm sure this works great, but you can get the same thing almost for free using a piece of bike inner tube or something similar. Simply lay a length of inner tube down the hose about a meter deep, then pull it over the male end while you start wrapping.
