Cross-linking chemical curing flexible, elastic, and durable roof sealant. Curing process imparts a highly elastic internal strength not found in traditional RV roof sealant products. Will bond to a variety of roofing component substrates. Very low VOC's and won't crack under the most extreme conditions. SIKAFLEX-715, Sikaflex -715 provides peace of mind for EPDM roof sealing! Sikaflex-715 is a cross-linking chemical curing flexible, elastic, and durable roof sealant. This curing process imparts a highly elastic internal strength not found in traditional RV roof sealant products. Sikaflex-715 will bond to a variety of roofing component substrates. Unlike other roofing sealants, Sikaflex-715 has very low VOC's and won't crack under the most extreme conditions. Traditional roof sealants have high shrink characteristics and crack when exposed to the environment, 300 ml cartridge.

The best sealant for vents etc on your roof.

This is the best seal for items on the roof of your RV. I've been using this for years and it's the only one I'll be using there.

The best self leveling sealant I have ever used.

This is the best sealant for my RV and trailer. I had a big leak around the bathroom vent, I got lazy and covered all the screw heads and the entire rim of the vent. there is no more leakage. Now I can sleep soundly at night knowing the leak has been fixed and I can enjoy my vacation. I highly recommend this sealant if you want to stop a leak instantly and have fun.

Restrictions and Surface Preparation

All caps instructions DO NOT APPLY TO EXISTING ROOF SEALANT. I was thinking of using this to seal cracks in old Dicor lap sealant, so I haven't used this Sika 715 (yet). I would like this restriction to be included in the product description. In addition, the instructions refer to the use of a special Sika surface cleaner, which upon further research turns out to be SikaSenseยฎ-3502/11. Unfortunately, this product isn't available and the companies that sell it want an arm and two legs for itโ€ฆ

Like better than Dicor products

So here's what got me thinking. The RV owner's manuals state not to use thinner or petroleum distillate (lighter fluid or mineral spirits) to clean/prep the roof. They claim that these products damage the roof. Dicor now actually contains mineral spirits to make the sealant malleable when applied and to harden the mineral spirits by essentially evaporating them. It's quite hypocritical for consumer cashiers to not use one type of product and then offer another product with a banned substance as
