Weatherstrip not 30ft long

Product works but I only have 26ft 4" (see photo) and not 30ft as stated in the product description. That was just enough for my 2008. Keystone Springdale retractable with approximately 2" headroom.

  • Impressive

Easy installation and perfect fit.

Replaced the gasket on our 2007 Keystone Cougar retractable rails. All you need is a screwdriver and a razor blade. Easy assembly, perfect fit and high-quality sealing. We are very satisfied.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Communication with seller

quality product. Easy landing.

The seal of our 2010 trapeze slide was in bad condition. Deleted the old one. Sealing surface cleaned with GooGone. I lubricated the seal retention strips with a retractable sealant conditioner. The new seal is inserted.

  • good thing
Cons
  • nothing

Easy installation for body and fairing

Very easy to install, plug in connector directly. Removing the old filling was more difficult than putting it in. You must unscrew the corner pieces to take out the old gasket and put in the new gasket. Put the corner pieces in last, the screws will help hold the new gasket in place.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Easy installation is good for body and trim

I had a drawer in the winter. Apparently when it rained, water ran onto the roof of my drawer and entered my trailer. The culprit was the oil seal as it had many cracks. Since then it has been raining and no more water gets into my mobile home.

Pros
  • Solid surface
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Right things: Weather protection

Don't get confused! This is the best product I have found for secondary sliding seals. There are other brands as well, but they tend to crack, rot, and melt, making a mess. I've had great success with AP. Lasts for years and doesn't melt. Don't spend money elsewhere.

Cons
  • Functionality

PERFECT for screw side guides

Tools required, #2 Phillips screwdriver, sharp utility knife and a sturdy stepladder. Very easy to install, very easy to use. Replacing a worn seal just got easier! I have enough left over to attend to a few more slides as the other pads have worn out. I have 5 slides so each of the 3 edges uses this type of padding. 15 ribs. If necessary, I can fix it in a few minutes. Love it!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...

Replaced the old gaskets with these - nice DIY

Our original secondary gaskets started to rip and tear - some stuck to the outside walls when we opened the sliders and didn't have time to replace them. The vertical pieces were easy to remove and install, but the horizontal piece along the tops was more difficult. The addition of dish soap seemed to help it slide down the track after starting, but it also made my fingers slippery. Once installed they seem to work as intended and should last a few years.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion
