Defective, I found programming instructions online. I then reprogrammed 2 existing remotes and this new remote during the same procedure. The existing remote controls still work perfectly. This remote would flash the hazard lights on the dash when the remote button was pressed as expected during programming. but the remote does not control the locks. I checked the battery, it was fully charged. Sent back for a refund.

Good construction and finish. Looks and feels like an OEM item. My first attempt at programming was unsuccessful, but when I followed the instructions EXACTLY, everything worked like magic: get in the car, close all the doors; pull out and insert the key six times, not too fast, the hazard lights will flash twice; ignition on ACC; Press a button on the remote control ONCE, the dangers will flash twice; open the driver's door. Don't know if that's the case for all vehicles.

2001 Nissan Frontier. Happy with the purchase. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because it looks like the battery either drained quickly or it came with an old battery which is a bummer. I ordered two (one on a keychain, one as a spare). My key fob worked at a distance of maybe 40 feet and even through the wall of a building.
