Larger tank, more available water

Most people don't need or need a 14 gallon tank, but reverse osmosis systems work best on long, infrequent runs. Smaller tanks force the system to use the filter media more frequently for a short period of time. And when I need a few gallons of drinking water, it's readily available. The lug came with a small dent, but that's just a cosmetic reason, mostly due to the shipper.

Pros
  • Good to use
Cons
  • Does not fit all

Huge upgrade over 5 gallon tank

We use a lot of reverse osmosis water for drinking water, ice, fish tanks and more. The standard 5-gallon tank was fine, but often leaves you waiting for a refill. This solves the problem. Of course, this is more than a 5 gallon tank and you will need to purchase the valve separately here at AZ. Once you have the right bits, the installation is essentially plug and play. I filled and emptied the first tank, after that everything was fine.

Works best in water filtration and softening systems

I've had no problems at all with this tank. I rinsed it twice before using it. Water has no taste or smell. It seems to hold a lot more than my previous 3.2 gallon tank. It perfectly absorbs water from a conventional low-power reverse osmosis system. I use it on my site with no problems. Be careful if you want to use it under the sink, it's too big to fit in a normal cupboard. . I had to cut out and replace part of the cabinet to fit, although it was worth it.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • No paint required

The product does not match the description or the picture.

The photo on the internet shows the tank with the Schrader valve in the lower half. The tank I was sent has a Schrader valve in the top half of the tank. If you want a tank that holds water in the top half, you might not get one. A cheap plastic base for a tank is a real engineering marvel: no! Try to push your hand through the mouse hole to turn the ball valve. I can make a tool that goes through a small hole to get through the check valve, but they could supply it. If I didn't need the tank…

14 is better than 4 - Nozzle not included

When I first started looking, I knew from previous experience that if I wanted to run an ice maker and have unlimited water on demand, I needed more. as the standard size, i was worried about the size but it fit perfectly in the corner under the counter. I have an upgraded 3/8 line and it fills a gallon jug in no time. Only thing I didn't like was waiting for the adapter, luckily Lowe had it in stock so I didn't have to wait 3 weeks - plus it was purchased during COVID when most of the…

Great tank, use brass fittings.

This is a large, high capacity tank for my reverse osmosis system but it took a minute to fix the leaks. I first used a PVC 1/2 NTP to 1/4 NTP adapter for the 1/4 line that goes to my water system, but the PVC fitting (using Teflon tape and pipe grease) was leaking. I tightened it and it was still leaking. Long story short, I replaced the necessary adapters with brass fittings and the leak was gone. I had it in my water heater sump just like I have an expansion tank for water problems like…

Great tank. Provides plenty of drinking water,

APEC First Class. The tank arrived in pristine condition, packed in two sturdy (and useful) boxes. Please note that you will need to order an adapter directly from APEC depending on how you connect this tank. The part I needed was quickly identified by contacting the tech support staff and arrived two days later. The tank is a huge upgrade to my GE system, effortlessly delivering reverse osmosis water through a 100 foot line and up one floor. I'm not on the ground yet! I didn't notice any…

Ignore the label and install it upside down!

This worked fine for me. I installed a reverse osmosis system in my 8 x 16 orchid greenhouse. I already had an aquarium this size, but I found that I didn't have enough water. Install it so that the outlet is at the top! I read someone's review and it installed upside down. Ignore the label if it's upside down. Make sure you have the correct air pressure when the tank is empty - buy a low pressure gauge for this measurement. The pressure is too high and water is not filling the tank. Too low…

The perfect addition to your reverse osmosis system.

Easy installation. I will say when I start projects like this I always assume that I need to make a few adjustments to make it work. It is simply impossible for a manufacturer to include EVERY potential fixture for EVERY potential installation. When I added this 14 gallon tank, I was simultaneously converting my RO-90 to a RO-HI using a 3/8" upgrade kit. So for my setup I needed a 3/4" NPT (essentially a garden hose fitting) to 1/2" (brass) adapter, a 1/2" to 1/4" NPT nylon adapter and a 1/4" "
