ITEM WAS DEAD ON ARRIVAL

Item arrived defective. No current flows through this power supply. The item had visible physical damage. Its side has been folded over as shown in the photos. Support refuses to send a replacement. Don't waste your time with this.

Dead 3 days after closing return window

Installed it on my son's PC a few days after receiving it (February 10th) as he needed a bit more power to run his 1080 and Oculus. Two days ago it was working fine but now it won't turn on at all. Of course, the return window is now closed. I will update this review as the seller resolves this issue.

Buyers beware of computers and accessories

This unit arrived with no physical damage other than it was DOA. I tried plugging it in without the essentials, at first I thought it might be my other components preventing the computer from booting, but after plugging in the old PSU, it became clear that the device I received was just dead was. I'm sure this PSU isn't complete rubbish, but I can't give it more stars at this point.

great price, impeccable product and in stock

I have to admit it wasn't my first or second choice for a power supply, but mostly because I didn't know the name, and unfortunately mine would be second choice too powerful and too expensive. So, after a little research, I chose this company. I liked what I read, read some customer reviews and went with it. it was wonderful. Hardly hear it working, very easy to install and use. It comes with plenty of cables for all your power needs. I love it. I will buy their stuff first next time I do a…

So Far So Good (Updated)

I'm surprised this is actually an 80+ Gold PSU after looking at the list of Gold rated PSUs. Build quality looks decent but isn't stunning. It's not too heavy, but it's not super light either, so you think it's a cheap piece of junk. It got to me working and so far it seems to be good. I will try to update if anything changes. Note: There are many cables connected to it. Update 7/10/2020: Still works and powers my 1080 well. While I know buying from Apevia can be hit or miss (as you can tell…

This is an unreliable product and does not deserve a gold rating.

I will say the product came in perfect packaging with no external damage and looked perfect but damn this product wasn't meant to be a gold rated product, I only recently bought this power supply to give myself a little more wobble Since I have a bigger computer rig than before I had a 500w EVGA bronze PSU and to be honest it worked fine but I just needed some extra power. I received this in my inbox on February 1st and here is February 11th and this device is not working. I diagnosed it for…

So far so good?: Inside

It's hard to write a PSU review. It works or not. I confess that when I bought this PSU (Appevia ATX-PR800) I really felt a budget deficit. I just couldn't shell out another $120-$150 for a better brand. So I bought a 3 year warranty for $65. Honestly, if you can last three years, it's probably worth it, right? This is a good, reliable device. It's absolutely silent. Running a mid-range gaming PC based on the 9700K and 1600 Super is no problem. For the price, it's definitely worth noting that…
