Very very LOUD fan

They are very loud. Apevia copies and pastes the same "24.7dB" noise levels in the descriptions of all of its fans, despite their different designs. I doubt they do noise testing at all, of course the number given is not accurate as it would be almost silent, when in reality they are pretty loud all the time and always run at the same speed regardless of your system temperature. If you play with headphones or keep your computer a few feet under a table, the noise can be tolerable, but…

Easy to set up, decent cooling, RGB doesn't always work properly.

I bought these fans about 3 weeks ago and I have to say it was quite difficult to get them to work properly. At first the 3/6 fans weren't displaying RGB colors (even though they were spinning) and I had to randomize the fans to get them to work properly. It wasn't that annoying since it was just a wire swap, but after I fixed it I found I had a couple of bad lightbulbs on the fans (see picture) and I couldn't fix it. Overall cooling is good enough and noise isn't too bad, but with one of my…

Incomprehensible instructions and almost melted wires

Instructions are incredibly incomprehensible. The description clearly shows that there are only 2 wires coming out of the Molex power connector. They sent me 4 on the control unit. I connect them to the 4-pin power connector (as instructed in the instructions), turn on the computer and it starts smoking and melting the wires. I can only assume it must be the 5V power connector, but you can't change the power connector as it's hardwired to the controller. There are (A) and (B) on the power side…

Reliable fans at a great price

I started using them in my build and was very impressed. RGB was good for what they are. No complaints, I would buy again. However, I upgraded to a whole suitcase full of Corsair in hopes that they would perform better. Unfortunately, only my wallet noticed the difference. The temperature does not change when switching from them to the Corsair set, so the performance is excellent. The RGB isn't as good as the Corsairs, but they're not bad, so not really a loss, just not as customizable. My…

Great fans for beginners to mid budget

Great fans if you are looking for budget fans. It's able to push enough air to keep my 3700x cool under load. The strips are magnetic but you can peel off the plastic adhesive strip. But the magnets are strong enough to hold the strip up. The downside is that the fans are a little tricky to screw in as the holes are smooth so you have to push and tighten the screws. You cannot control each fan individually. A little noisy but not enough to annoy me, but if you're looking to spend $300 just for…

Fans with the best value for money

The RGB of these fans is excellent. They are similar to the Corsair LL but I haven't had a chance to try them yet so I can't say if they are better or worse. (Knowing Corsair's quality products, I think they're a little inferior, but not by much, especially given the price you're paying.) The connectors face down, they're very difficult to disconnect, and the fact that the Controllers connected to them with the MOLEX cable. Also, the image shows that the bottom fan is out of sync with the rest.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No performance

Great for builds with old motherboards

Bought a case that already had RGB LED fans installed but my motherboard didn't support the controller. So I bought them and they turn on and play. Cannot be controlled by software but comes with a remote control to change lighting and fan speed. The noise level is not bad at all. I don't seem to hear them very much. But I play in speakers or headphones at high volume.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Little things

Good brightness Poor integration

Lighting is very bright and even. It's not terrible. But they don't connect to the motherboard's ARGB header. It should only connect to its own hub controller. And then you get stuck with preconfigured colors and patterns. I think the only benefit is that I still liked one of the patterns. So nothing else is needed. It's easy to hook up as both RGB and power are in the same cable, keeping things simple and tidy.

Pros
  • Glitter
Cons
  • Discontinued model
