This food is excellent for cats with appetite problems, whether older cats with CKD or kittens who need extra nutrition. The only thing I don't like is the packaging - it's hard to peel off the foil wrapper and the paper sleeve becomes an extra throwaway in the bin, why not pack in a small jar? or a mug with a zip?

My cat won't eat anything else! I'm a big fan of the Applaws brand of both wet and dry food. A bonus is that my husband and kids are more willing to feed his cat wet food (not just me) because it doesn't look or smell bad. Applaws is simply shredded chicken with whole foods (like rice) on the label. It makes sense.

I've been trying to transition my cat from dry food to wet food since he was a kitten when he was 2 years old. I must have spent over $1,000 trying different wet foods at different prices. All of this ended up in my nearest rescue center or in the garbage. This "Applaws" chicken is the only wet chicken my boy has ever enjoyed eating. He cleared his plate of this food.

My cat has been throwing up a lot of food lately. I reduced the amount of ingredients I fed him to find out what he was allergic to. This brand is amazing for wet and dry food options with limited ingredients. I've decided plain chicken is best for my cat. He can eat it and not vomit it. Purple Applaws chicken bags (not cups) are great too. Will order more of these. My cats prefer this in broth to packets. The bags are a bit drier and the cat gets bored with dry chicken. The broths are perfect.
